@wi_taco pointed that out in post #25309.

Depending on how much it sucks removing them, I might order the Lexus versions.

Is your power out? It sounds like they really got nailed a little south of me.

Also, my customer in Pewaukee lost power overnight, then it came back on, and then went back out as they were turning machines back on this afternoon. I ended up finding out that one of their compressors had an issue with it, but there was also no power coming in from utility when I first got there. Then, the power came back on a little after 6:00.

50 looks like nothing which I dont like. It is normally dark when I drive in the morning so I guess I do a bit of night driving. idk I still want 35 because it looks darker and is a little more worth doing than 50. Oh well probably will not be able to convince my parents on that though.

I never got into tinted windows. I drive way too much at night. But, I have been considering a light tint just to reduce the heat in the summer.

Still, I find it hard to believe that 50% doesn't look like anything.

I guess it depends on if you are tinting for heat reduction, or tinting for looks. The latter I don't understand at all.

Edit: then again, I was never one of the cool kids.

50% ceramic will help with heat rejection but for darkness it's not worth the dollars. I did 20% on the front and 50% on the rear (which is the darker privacy glass) and I don't feel that's it's too dark. And I'm 46 and the eye sight isn't what it used to be.

This is the first vehicle I ever had tint installed on and I think it's something I'll always do now. It definitely makes a difference on interior temperatures. Even driving with the AC on, you don't have the sun baking you from the sides.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Where you're going it's practically required!

I may get a very light or clear ceramic on the windshield once I get there too.

I'm going to have to check this out in Tigerton. I am still up in the air about getting the front windows tinted lightly. I like the heat rejection aspect, but don't want to go too dark. But, I have no frame of reference for what 50%/ 20%/ whatever actually looks like.

4Runner spa day is underway. Front and rear diffs are done, oil change is in progress. Next is the transfer case, and grease!

I thought I was going to have to skip the transfer case today because I screwed up my math and didn't buy enough gear oil. But, I found almost a full quart from the last time in the garage.
