Cup holders, manual transmission

Ok, so is this a joke? Very shallow depth and wide. I know I have to wedge napkins in between the cup of a large coffee and the inside of cup holder so I feel like it won't topple over in my new truck.

 

Yep I do the same thing. No great solution for skinny things as far as I know

 

But it's a large. I don't get a big gulp in the morning, or ever lol. So I guess I'll have to make something, wonderful.

 

The automatic truck cup holders ain't any better IMO. I've had both AT and MT trucks. Console cup holders in Toyota's suck in general...

 

Buy a Chrysler minivan if you want cupholders

The ones in my '13 are just fine. And over abundant.

 

I seem to remember the cup holders in the 2nd gen being better. There's plenty of cup holders in the 3rd gen, just odd sized...

 

I put whatever I’m drinking in a can cooler/koozie. Sort of helps.

 

16 or 24 wide mouth mason jars fit ok. You can always slap the chalk bag on there otherwise.

 

Piece of abs pipe as spacer?

 

One of those thick squishy foam koozies works pretty well, but then you have to get a mesh hat and a mullet

 

Not saying I’m including myself but I’ve seen many people with all three of these descriptors lately.

 

I’ve use two of the three and may or may not be in the market for a Tennessee top hat

 

It’s embarrassing that I have a German car with better cup holders than this truck. The Germans are notoriously bad at cup holders.

Anyway. The taco cup holders would be great if they had those retracting finger tabs to hold in smaller containers. Sucks that they don’t.

I am seriously trying to figure out how you think these cup holders are too big. I use a standard coffee cup and it won’t fit in the cup holder, and has to be balanced on the top edge. How could this possibly be too big as a real “cup” does not fit in the holder.
What are you putting in there an actual cup, or a caramel sugar kidding iceed cafe from Starbucks-Dutch? A real cup won’t fit and it needs a slightly bigger opening.

 

Won’t even come close to fitting in the cup holder. I have both and the sit on top.

 

Too big? I had to buy a smaller based to fit. This fits perfectly.
