I have a long bed Tacoma and am looking for a good bed rack that can go the full 72" or pretty close to it. I am looking for a mid height rack that can hold a rooftop tent and has panels on the side for mounting gear. I haven't had any luck looking around so anyone have any good ideas?

I picked up a Yakima Outpost HD recently. It puts the top of my RTT flush with the cab, has crossbars that can be located pretty much wherever I want them (I have them spaced out as far as possible along the bedrails), and has the option for sidebars with the T-slot rails for mounting gear. No complaints so far.

I cant say enough good things about my UpTop truss rack. Easy to put together, great customer service and built like a freaking TANK.
The only down side Id say is they are definitely on the pricey side. I also loved the fact that I can run my Retrax tonneau cover with it as well. I also love that you can mount aux lighting built in as well, and still have room for things unobstructed on top of the rack, like our kayaks. (pod lighting for my UpTop rack has not come in yet) Color matching paint from the company for the Alpha cap rack on top also makes things nice on the aesthetic side of things for me personally.

Although I have the full height rack, UpTop does make low and medium height truss racks in this same model IIRC. Highly recommended

Thank you guys! I really appreciate the help so far. I agree I like the VRS one, it seems to fit a lot of what I want. I also looked at the Truss and the Yakima Outpost and both of those seemed legit too.
