Looking at getting these from Crutch to replace stock door speakers..thoughts?
They have sale right now..buy a pair and get qualifying pair for half price.
I will and amps/subs at later date...looking at a plug-n-play operation with these. Question..do you HAVE to use the included crossover to play them...or can you leave it out (for now) and still use these?

Polk Audio db6501 for the front doors
Polk Audio db651s for the rear doors

    Thx

You dont have to use the crossover but why in world would you not? You can route your exhaust right into the right fenderwell near your intake and your truck will still run too but, again, why would someone do that?

I personally dislike all the Polk speakers vs competition in their price range all the way up to the SR series. Of course its not what I like that matters... go listen and decde for yourself. If you have a Fry's Electronics near you they are on display. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 3.

I would go the Hybrid Audio Imagine series route, if you dont want to mess with crossovers. They are awesome out of the box, and sound even better when you add some power with an amp.
