    Hi all!

I have a truck shell from my old ford ranger that I think will fit on my 2nd gen tacoma bed, but looking at the track system on the bed I'm curious if theres a way or a product to adapt my older shell to my new truck. Thanks for the advice!

A set of these should work. Any cap dealer should have some.

    You'd think. But I couldn't find any.

I remove the clamps once or twice a year and slide the cap back about a foot to clean the front of the cap and rear window of my truck. After 16 years one of my clamps simply wore out and I had a hard time finding a replacement. I went by a local dealer and they didn't have any either. But one of their installers managed to fabricate something that worked from spare clamps around the shop. They wouldn't let me pay them anything.

I'd really like to find some more because if one wore out the others probably aren't far from it.

I dunno if you guys have Princess Auto in the states, but if you're in or near Canada I bet they have them. They're one of those stores with everything for mechanics, plus everything else you could ever want too.
