Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and excited about my first summer camping trip coming up in August. The place I'm heading to is going to be pretty hot. I'll be accompanied by my puppy Jerry on this adventure. So, here's my question: Do you think I should invest in a portable AC to keep us cool, especially during the nights while sleeping? If you have any experience with summer camping, could you please share your thoughts? Just a simple "yes" or "no" response would be great, but if you have a recommendation for a portable AC, say "yes" and suggest one; if not, I'd love to hear your opinions as well. Your insights would be highly appreciated!

    Hi Selina.
It is very cool to use the portable A/C at night or in the shade. I have a Mark2 and love its portability which can be carried in one hand. When I get to bed at night, I often wake up freezing and have to adjust the settings. It works much better than the swamp cooler I used to have. No need for ice!
