I've been looking online at a lot of the various wedge toppers and so far it seems the tent material is some form of plastic (e.g. polyester of some sort). Is anyone using cotton canvas like in Kodiak or Springbar tents? I know canvas is heavier, but since it's just the sides it probably wouldn't add that much weight. I don't think maintenance would be any worse.

I have a Kodiak tent and love it. Easy setup for tent, sturdy, waterproof, standing height. It is heavy and the poles and stakes are stout but none of that would be needed in a wedge tent camper.

FYI for anyone who doesn't know about canvas tents https://wildernesstimes.com/best-canvas-tent/
