I mean if you have it it’s your call on what discretion you use if any
Per ER’s, who have to use it
They do, send people out the door, who then go repeat.

most states can. LE can. Or you get a permit.

    exactly.
You could be at or walking by a party. House in the neighborhood. Place in the city. Some kid takes something laced unconscious.
Maybe you know someone dealing with something like grief of a loss. Takes something they don’t know what’s in it to help fall asleep. Obviously not advisable but something that happens. An otherwise good person. Passes out.
There you go. You have free shit in your truck that at least solves the problem for that period of time. It can be replaced for free.
    There’s many different scenarios.

I just happened to have a bad one. One of the first builds of the first year of a new gen. Thought everything was fixed after 6-8 months. Dumped some mod money in it. Paid it off in 27 months. Dumped more mod money in it. Then got transmission flashed again. Each month drove it less and less frequently. Then another recall. Then reading horror stories of timing chain cover leaks and an occasional rear main seal failure. Then another recall. Next thing is I hit 5 years and oh shit the warranty is gone. Then paranoid and the continuous thought of should I sell it or should I keep it or how far can I trust it. Then market values started climbing. Then SOLD. Then yet another recall letter. Went back to 2nd gens. No more paranoid thoughts. No more recall letters. Finally PEACE.

A fishery biologist I worked with had been a Navy plane captain, and he told us that a pilot had told his ground crew that breathing oxygen will cure a hangover.
He also warned that it's not a long term solution; the hangover will return when that dosage fades...

I believe most bugs were worked out starting in late 2018. What they never fixed is the slug 3.5 and the wonky automatic damnsmission. Now everyone just throws tune money in them so they run almost as good as the 2nd gen 4.0. With all of the issues I had, with only 25k miles on it, I felt better just letting it go and going back to the reliable 4.0. I always said there is a good reason the 4runner still used the 4.0. It is a better engine. The 3.5 in other vehicles was not detuned like the 3rd gen Taco. That is plainly evident by the base hp of those other 3.5 models. It was awesome at saving gas but, as factory (de)tuned and engineered, in stock trim it could hardly get out of it's own way. I didn't spend good money on a new Tacoma that must need a tune for it to run normal. I blame myself, partially, for not being more aggressive in my initial test drive. Having owned other gen's before I just assumed the power would be there when I needed it. I think my pre-gen 1987 22R had more get up and go than the 3.5.

When I was Active Duty AF, I was a Flight Engineer on the C-5. I would occasionally re-run my oxygen mask pre-flight because I "messed it up" just to get another minute and a half or so of 100% oxygen when I had partied a little too hard the night prior.

Starting last night and finishing up today, I installed a Flowmaster Super 40 and a "CAI" (we all know its just a short ram intake). I know I know, all of y'all are gonna blast me with "It's a v6 they don't sound good with any type of muffler and a ram intake robs power". Well... I did the research and watched countless videos to pick the muffler I did (my wife even likes it). And for the intake - it's a truck. It was never meant to be fast. I like the way it makes my truck sound WOT and it puts a little smile on my face. If I wanted fast I wouldnt have bought a truck in the first place. All in all for $300 bucks I'm quite happy with what I got out of it.

I did notice one or two things. 1st being my trucks temp is running about 2-4 degrees warmer than usual. Albeit today was a warm day so I will have to see if it makes a difference on a cooler day, but I think my truck might be running a bit warmer due to not getting as cool of air from the stock intake. I can live with that. Number 2. I drove the route to where I work as a test of what mpg I get. Normally I get to work showing an Avg of about 13.5-13.7. Today after the mods, it was 17.1. That's with the truck warm on both occasions.

The other benefit from installing these parts is that I got a new tool out of it! I was trying to use a hacksaw to cut the exhaust pipe. My wife ended up coming into the garage and told me she couldn't take the noise any-more and to go buy a sawzall. So I did:sawzall:
