I have a stock 2019 TRD Sport 4x4 I want to install a lift and tires. I have reads hours worth of forums about lift kits and just keep digging myself a deeper hole and hoping for some guidance.
I am wanting to run a set of 285/70/17 Wrangler DuraTrac tires with an lift but would like to avoid rubbing as much as possible. I am thinking about three inches in lift plus the size of these tires would have my truck at the stance I want. Would this be enough to have these fit and what lifts should I be looking at to accomplish this.
I do not plan on doing to crazy off-roading but would like it to do some moderate trail riding and rarely do long drives. If that helps any.

    That should work.

I ran 285/75/16 tires with no rubbing and a 2” lift.

You do not need 3in lift to fit these tires
2 in is sufficient, you will have to only fold the front inner wheel liner more forward. That is the only rubbing I have on my ride

Here is what I am talking about.
See photos, no cab mount chop, only fender liner fiddling.
My case I drilled a small hole and zip tied it to the bumper.

Thank Y’all for all the help and photos!

I think im gonna stick with finding a 3in lift to go along with the tires. If there any recommendation for kits or good threads to go read through please direct them my way.
    Once again thank you

If you do not plan on going off-road at any point in the future, at all, ever.

Blocks and spacers, are cheap, but your ride comfort suffers. There are many opinions, debates, etc about that

Keep in mind if you go past 2.5 in inpect your CV angle (people here have more knowledge and wisdom about that than I do), and your UCA at full droop.

Avoid going past 3in on the front IFS, otherwise your wallet needs thinning.
