how to view videos on stock HU when running

hi i have a 21 tacoma double cab with stock head unit and i can watch videos as long as the truck is in park and or with the emergency brake on.

Is there a way that i can bypass the parking brake so i can keep watching videos when running?

 

This is why I stopped commuting on the motorcycle.

 

Exactly, to many people with their head up their ass, face in their phone or watching videos while driving.

 

A perfect example of why they put safeguards in the system.

 

I tried it once with my headunit.

It is easily the most dangerous thing you can do. I was wildly distracted and I was trying to ignore it.

I sold that vehicle and warned the new owner that you could play videos, she said thats great! my kids can watch from the back seat!

I sold my motorcycle because to many yahoos are driving with their face buried in the cell phones. The cell phone problem could be fixed with a simple update that would disable the ability to surf the internet and text that activates as soon as the phones GPS detects the vehicle is moving, I think they should also make it so the only call you can make is to 911 when the vehicle is moving.

Put the damn phone down while you drive and don't even get me started on the yahoos who play on their phone at traffic lights that sit though the light because they were to busy playing on their stupid phone.

Georgia went hands free several years ago with the cell phone law, and that includes when you are sitting at a traffic light. But still see people texting away while in motion.

 

You can rest yer phone on the head unit screen and watch that way

 

If the OP is serious about watching videos while driving (running) he should have his license taken away from him!!! That is just an accident waiting to happen!!!!
