I've read a bunch of threads about adding aftermarket seat heaters. It seems that some of the kits that have been referred to in the past are no longer available (kits on Amazon). I did see the Clazzio kits which look nice, but I only want one for the drivers seat and they are for both seats.

Would something like this work? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/RPC-250-1870

Also, could I buy a single OEM Toyota switch and use it in place of the switch included in the kit above? Does anyone have a part number?

Not bad, but I’d prefer the more OEM looking approach.

Good idea. OEM looking ones just look better. No one who gets in my truck has any idea they are aftermarket because I used Toyota switches. Even at the dealer they get confused.

Mine have been flawless for the many years they have been in my truck. If you have read past threads OP, my posts are in there soemwhere.

I have had the Clazzio leather seats for 4 years and they look new and with a little attention to some detail. A little work I made them fit like a glove and to make it even more factory looking I installed a heated seat kit from Amazon. It's the kit which had the Toyota style switches with high and low settings and light up blue. Looks so factory and they have been great.

I might go with leather seat covers down the line. They look pretty nice.

My search skills must be in decline. Can anyone link to seat heaters (other than the Clazzio kit) with the factory looking Toyota style switch?

My experience with eBay and Amazon has yielded no real differences in the manufacturer of specific items 75% of the time but, you are more likely to get a factory second or a returned and resold item on eBay. With Amazon the seller knows that if it isn't as described it will probably be returned. Some accessory dealers have a presence on both platforms and I have experienced the less desirable outcomes from a few of them buying on eBay. I think this is why eBay has stepped up their return policy and it is having results. One aftermarket lighting vendor just said keep the $100 tail lights and returned my complete purchase price. One light has black chrome finishing and the other is plain black plastic. My guess is with the photographic evidence and eBay stepping in, the vendor decided that the $30 shipping cost to them was not worth getting the tail lights back.
