Step bars for my child

I had been getting the red lines on the dash for the drivers side and beeping when i put my truck in reverse. I figured this meant my backup lights were not working. I replaced with LED today and now both sides are showing with the red lines on the dash. Any ideas? Does it just not like the LED bulbs?
