    04' Impulse Red Base Model
    Hello!

I have been lurking around this forum for a while. I have a 2004 Base model, standard cab, automatic, 2wd, impulse red Tacoma. I have owned my truck since it was brand new off the lot in 2004, in Hawaii. Since then, I have moved from Hawaii to California and now to Massachusetts. My truck has come with me through it all, and I hope to keep her forever! Now that she's getting older, I am hoping to begin some restoration done and it seems to me that this is an excellent place to find information and possible leads and resources on parts and other information. I'm hoping to return my Tacoma to as close to original as possible. Being that I haven't done many modifications, I am mostly needing to repair damage, wear and tear and surface rust issues.

I can and have found most of the parts I need online, but the first major part I cannot find is the impact bar assembly. I found this picture here on Tacoma World (I hope the original poster doesn't mind me borrowing it). If anyone has this assembly and is near Western Massachusetts, I am interested!

Other than that, I look forward to learning more and seeing what other 1st Gen Tacoma owners do to keep their old girls kickin out there!
