What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I like your resi set up. When I rebuild mine I plan on doing something like that. Do you have any more photos?

If anyone is looking these are available on Facebook in the "3rd Gen Tacoma Enthusiasts" group. Not priced. I have them and love the cost efficient level.

 

Removed the front bumper to install the filler piece that has been off far too long. I had to remove the flares to get the bumper off because of the Bushwackers.
If you have them, don't bolt the two pieces of the front fares together, makes it hard to do any front end work.

 

I don’t know why, but the minute I saw this I thought of that song by queen “fat bottom girls”! Yup, she’s kinda thick! Might get in trouble for that one.

 

I finally got the truck tinted after a year and a half of ownership definetly should of done sooner. 15 visor and rear, and 50 on the front window. Definetly should have gone darker because 50 really doesn’t darken it at all but something is better than nothing I guess

 

Does it shake or vibrate much off road?

You don’t have the bucket anymore. I plan on running my secondary resi over that coil spring bucket.

don’t like the angle it’s sitting at now, mounted on the secondary shock hoop.

Quick n easy on a Friday morning, swapped bright white for more aggressive yellow bulbs. Like the look on silver sky.

Did you paint match the grille surround yourself?

 

It came like that when I got it. Some base model SR5 come with it and I think there is a package that makes it chrome. Definitely looks a lot better paint matched and I’m glad I didn’t have to do that

 

What is the shock hoop bolted to or are you asking what the reservoirs are mounted to?

The shock hoop is welded to the frame on both ends. The reservoirs just have the hose clamp wrapping the hoop.

Made an appointment for a KDMax tune. Any second gens that have it that can provide feedback between the sport or normal throttle?

 

Got my wheels back from getting them powder coated, got my tires mounted, and put on.
