    Agree - entertainment :)

    I believe the industry has drifted focus from sitting down for an hour just to be entertained - everything doesn't have to deal with "important" issues of the day, nor do I care about the overly complicated personal lives of the characters - I have an overly complicated personal life of my own. :mad:

    The old shows were quite linear with a moral ending.
    1) bad guy commits crime
    2) good guy catches criminal
    3) criminal gets punished

    You had some fighting, car chases, shooting and the occasional explosion along the way, throw in some light humor and moral/kindness lesson ending and you filled out a relaxing hour.

    I plan on it!

    I want my historical shows and gun handling to be realistic, beyond that I want to be entertained.

    Interestingly the old “realistic” cop shows, Adam-12 and Hill Street Blues comes to mind, had really good gun handling and the revolvers didn’t have unlimited ammo lol.
