I like ours but do prefer the 2 burner camp chef that we have. It boils water a lot faster and I love being able to make coffee and eggs at the same time. Unfortunately I had forgotten the adapter for our 20lb propane tank…

what adapter do you have? i have one that screws into where the small green bottles do then it screws in the bigger propane tank. like there is a little metal thing that goes inside the big tank, not a normal black plastic part that screws on the outside of the tank.

mine worked with with my ignik firecan and camp chef stove, but then i got it filled and it only works with the firecan now. im thinking it has to do with the stove adapter screwing in the tank and not onto the tank. like there is a safety thing that prevents it, but idk why it worked before.

Try bleeding the air from your tank. Pretty common issue. There's a little screw on the side of the regulator you loosen to let out trapped air.

i’m not sure which adapter I have but it sounds similar to the one you have. It’s a base with two brass fittings, one for the camp chef and the other that screws into, not over, the propane connection.

We are loving our InTech. Found that the Lodge 9x16 griddle/grill plate fits our two burner Dometic stove freeing up our Coleman to run the folding oven. First night was Philly Cheesesteaks with provolone. For breakfast bacon, eggs, and blackberry pancakes using berries we picked from our campsite. The griddle plate will be a game changer.

    Coleman oven. I love them.
Try plumbers cloth (soldering blanket, carbon mesh) as a blanket for insulation around the outside.
Also a pizza stone helps stabalize temperature.
A digital thermometer and probe can be a huge advantage for temperature settings.

We love ours. It’s produced some great meals. Roasted red potatoes, garlic/cheese bread, cinnamon pecan rolls, monkey bread, muffins, biscuits, and even a birthday cake for my wife. But want to do yeast bread and need the blanket & stone to hold a consistent temperature. Just ordered a 10”x10” kiln shelf (thinner and lighter) and will buy a welders blanket soon to custom tailor a nice cover for it.

    From last month.

Had some leftovers from the night before and took it camping. Had the rice and chicken already cooked. pretty much cooked the veges, reheated the chicken and rice on the griddle, covered it in some teriyaki sauce made the day before.

Also had bagels and lox by the river the next morning.

Super scrubby, scrapes off stuck on bits, no need for soap, doesn't damage the surface, lasts forever, can be used as a trivet for a hot pan.

soundz like a good idea to me. have to say last time i had a camp set up...august 10,11,12, 2023, was just before the remnants of tropical storm hilliary blew thru eastern california and wreaked havoc on the gravel roads, which put a damper on the Fall season plans, and then other issues way laid such that i'm out of activity until next november. In any case i'll follow the thread. foto of august 12 camp just prior to huge dark thunder heads descended from north with flashes and quick booms, about 7600 ft flat, just next to a 8000ft peak.
