I just got some new tires, they are 265/70/R17. I currently have the stock 265/65/R17 on my 2023 TRD sport. Do you guys think these tires will clear? It seems they will fit but I’d like to see if anyone has had rubbing issues with this size tires.

If you keep the stock rims, they will clear with absolutely no problems, even with mud flaps. I run 255/75R17 on the stock sport rims and they clear as well. I have stock mud flaps.

If you were to switch to the TRD Sema wheels, you will have some rubbing when hitting bumps while turning.

Should be fine. I went that size but also went with 0 offset rims and backing out while full turn I just skim the mudflap once in a while.

You'll be fine on stock wheels may have to remove the air dam. That's only because I have never seen a truck with upside tires and it still on. But as stated if you bump up your offset it will start to clip the stock flaps

They are about 1" taller, same width. But there are very minor differences in actual size between different manufacturers and load ranges. An E rated tire in the same size as a P rated tire is slightly bigger. In very rare cases there could be minor rubbing issues that can be corrected easily. I think you'll be fine.

I am running the 265/70R17's on a TRD Pro replica wheel with +5 offset. I also have a 48mm lift with aftermarket UCA's. I rub even after trimming the mud flaps while reversing on the left side.

With these trucks, if you move from factory sizes, you will increase your chance of rubbing.

Short answer Jaden. Maybe, but probably not an issue!

I upsized with stock rims and had no problems! (From 265/70/16 to 265/75/16) Then I lifted 2" with stock UCA's and stock coils, and still no problems.

Thankfully kept my OEM mudflaps, and no rubbing there either.

It’s very simple. With stock wheels, you can go up to 31.6x10.5 or 32.1x10 no problem, even with mud flaps. If you go go different rims, there will be times they rub if using stock mud flaps such as turning while hitting a bump. If no mud flaps, then probably won’t rub.

TRD 4R Sema wheels do not count as stock just because they’re made by Toyota. Their +4 offset is too aggressive and causes occasional rubbing.
