Thanks to all on this thread, I ordered the LC Engineering Street Header Kit and their Header Stud Set 30 November and a Tekton 3/8 drive torque wrench (Home Depot) that will be useful on other Tacoma projects. If/when I add the cat-back exhaust, I'm ready for the cut to fit with a power tool. We consider application of "Norwegian steam" a power tool.

I've had the LCE long tube on my 16' LBAC for about a year now. The only difference in sound was that its more of a growl (change in tone not volume) than stock. The power down low is a little better and it holds 6th gear much better than before (AT). I still get about 21-22MPG so no change there. I do have the KDMAX tune on it and THAT really made a difference, like driving a different truck. There is a new tue available I just need to get up with Chris and put it in hoping for a little more gas pedal before it down shifts.

    Cheers,

    Doc
