:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Got up early for the car show, made it to the end of the bed, and my body says "heck no". So, I got some rest instead. Mowing Friday, and chair and set-up/tear down yesterday took it's toll.

We had set up 400 chairs at tables for the ceremony, had to pull out another hundred chairs, and still had people standing, and up on the 2'nd floor balcony. I stayed out of the way, where I could not hear well, but it was a lovely gathering. My videos of the (4) T-6 and (1) BT-13 flyover failed miserably - I might edit something out of it. Here is a pic of a line of the T-6, including a few (others) that were not in the flyover.

We are like you. In 2020 we looked at T4R’s and Highlanders. I wanted the T4R wifey wanted the Highlander. She who must be obeyed won and we bought a new Highlander.I really like the Highlander, it’s got everything I want, roomy, fast with the 295hp engine and 8 speed tranny, AWD and more electronics than I’ll ever learn how to use but I still like the 4x4 T4R. I’ve been considering getting a new T4R just for me. My only hesitation is the gas mileage, it sucks. Supposedly 19 highway and 16 city which in reality is likely 17/14 or worse. Since gas in California is currently between $4.50 and $5.00+ per gallon it’s a consideration. No matter what I’m keeping my truck. I may go drive one today.

I was skeptical, but I've come to really like Kristi's Hybrid Highlander ... it's a fine vehicle and as @Tacoma Mike told me, Toyota has the Hybrids figured out. It's some impressive engineering, not to mention, for it's size and weight ... it flat out scoots when you put your right foot down. :D

I've had my 06 Tacoma Quad Cab for 17 years now. I might be ready for a change to the 4Runner. GSD Big Dog is no longer with us so no daily Tacoma rides in the truck bed.
I'll be damned if I'll get a midget woofy dog to replace him. Go Big Dog or go home!

    Very good haul today.
Still have big tides from the moon, so we got out pretty far where the quahogs live.
The small ones will go on the grill, while the 'hogs are already cooked and vacuum sealed.
    Stocking up for the Winter.

    Afternoon all:

No expert on cordless tools, but on an ice fishing forum it seems like the guys really like the Milwaukee "Fuel" drills for their electric ice augers, there are lots of them that switched from gas augers to electric ones.

Looks like it's time for some of that New England Clam Chowda bucktales! :hungry:

    I have a K Drill and a Dewalt cordless.
Technically the drill is one Size smaller then recommended but it will twist your wrist around if your not careful.

    Let me clarify.
Hermits Rest down to the Tonto Trail.
Tonto Trail to Bright Angel Trail.
    Up to rim.
About 25 miles. Best in spring, fall, or winter

In regard to Milwaukee Fuel cordless drive and drill: I have a small M12 that I beat up everyday. I’ve hammered in cement screws and it just keeps going.

Gooped, squeezed, cured and sealed. And holding water.

    20230806_171059.jpg

I discovered today putting it back, that somewhere along the line, one or the other was replaced. They don't mate - it just sits on top. When it fails....
