    So I have a leak and not sure where it smokes a little and my gas mileage is crap idk if that has anything to do with it but and input would greatly appreciated it's a 3.4 96 Toyota Tacoma roughly 245980 miles on it

    Knowing the year and drive train is helpful.

    Looks like time for valve cover gaskets.

    Have you pulled any Codes ? That can help point in the right direction at times .

    When was the last tune up ?

    I always start with new spark plugs and take it from there. Try cleaning the mass air flow sensor, too.

    F: Kings SPC, R: 5100s+J59s. Custom armor.
    Looking at the pictures- They very clearly show that the valve covers seals are leaking. The oil leaks down the block and onto the hot exhaust manifolds which is causing the smoke and am I am sure smell. This is a very common issue for these engines.

    Are you planning on doing the work yourself, or just researching prior to taking it in?

    Also looks like a spark plug tube seal is leaking so don't skip those (or the cam plugs and half moons) when doing the job.
