I am not a fight starter but spitting on someone is one of the worst things in my opinion that you can do. And I would have no problem going to jail for trying to stomp the living shit out of anyone who spit on me.

That's funny, sort of a similar situation here. I have two neighbors within earshot who had political signs/flags/etc. at the ends of their driveways for years. One neighbor we don't talk to anymore because he thought he had free access to hunt/manipulate my land. The other neighbor is across the road, and she's crazy but she's okay with us because we helped her out of her driveway after a big snow storm.

She (in her 40s at the time) was a live-in caregiver to the older gentleman (in his 80s) across the road. About a year after she moved in, the property started getting fixed up. She did a lot of landscaping herself, the house got re-sided, re-roofed, painted, etc. I don't know if they ever married, but he eventually passed away and she got everything.

This lady has zero volume control over her voice. Everything is at shouting level, and she talks super fast and with a heavy southern Appalachian accent, so it sounds like she's playing a mouth harp in staccato into a bullhorn. We've heard her shouting at all hours of the day and night, yelling at the UPS guy for "trespassing" while making deliveries, and screaming random things like, "I see you pervert!" into the darkness. At least 1-3 times a day/night she's shooting her guns off, even in pitch dark. Nothing like waking up to multiple gunshots at midnight. I guess my neighbor called the police on her one night after a few rounds went off, and that poor deputy got such and earful from her. She randomly stops in the middle of the road if she sees us getting mail and says things like our mailbox is too close to the road. A few weeks ago she came barreling up our driveway blaring her horn when my wife was home by herself. She dropped off a huge bag of green peppers from her garden, then launched into a q-anon type conspiracy theory tirade on multiple different subjects without any prompting. Was very awkward for my wife.

Anyway, she's nowhere near as bad as some neighbors in these stories, but I am glad to be on her good side.

That’s pretty funny, if the gun shots bother you to much it may be wise to look up local code for shooting near occupied buildings. I know where I’m at it’s within 150yds of a building/residence or you need permission from the owner.

    I got one today...

Was trimming a bunch of hedges along my fence line and debris fell on neighbors side which happen to be renters. The property is owned by a rental conglomerate. (issues with that too:rolleyes:). Instead of knocking on my front door or asking me to pick it up. They decided to throw it over the fence at me along with a bunch of loose gravel that hit me right in the face.

I stood on a bench and peered over the fence and asked them "Did you throw that at me?" The b***h girlfriend responded "I did, because you're an asshole. We just spent 3 hours cleaning up your debris yesterday and now it's dirty again."

I told her boyfriend "she's nice." He said "she is, you're a jerk." I said, "I think you're going to jail for assault and you should start looking for another place to rent."

Police showed up over an hour later took a report and of course she denied throwing anything over the fence. Police claim it's my word against them. Going to file a restraint order, complaint with HOA. HOA will notify rental company.

Guess I setup the spot light on their bedroom window and start with the loud music. Maybe run the blower at 5am on Sunday. :D

They've got some outdoor patio gazebo contraption setup in their back yard that isn't HOA approved. Guess I'll file a complaint for that too. :cookiemonster:

I can't wait till this place sells. I'm buying acreage.

With the nuclear level meltdowns our 3 1/2 year old has been having lately, particularly before bed, I think we've become the lunatic neighbors

I sometimes think about this thread too. My dogs have been pent up in the house thanks to the unholy summer. 30 seconds of letting them out, on the daily, they are baying their fool heads off at anything that moves. This in turn causes me to shout into the backyard, "DAMMIT EEVIE! GET YOUR SHIT DONE AND GET BACK INSIDE!" Not once or twice. Daily.

... I'm sure the neighbors love me. :anonymous::anonymous:

I've got a neighbor across the street in a cul-de-sac that sets off her car alarms in tandem at all times of the evening and night.

So did they in fact spend time cleaning up after you the previous day? If so maybe this could have been avoided by you going there and knocking on their door and telling them you'll be done tomorrow and will clean up after yourself. From what you've written the problem is you.
