    Hello TW

After a not so great year long work contract abroad I am going all in for a 15 day off road trip.

Why? Because it’s better than therapy (I’d say cheaper buuut not so sure about that with my recent truck mods haha)

    When? mid October 2023

I am hoping to get recommendations as to the fun trails and campsites that will keep me alway from civilization for most of the time (still need to fuel up and get groceries of course).

    Day 1-2
SoCal to Moab. A campsite not too far off the beaten path would be nice for this night.

    Day 3-9
Explore Moab trials and surrounding area
On trail BLM camping preferred here. A night or 2 by a river would be a bonus.

    Day 10
Pick up a my wife from Denver airport

    Day 11-13
Camp within 3 ish hours of Denver in the mountains

    Day 14-15
    Drive back to SoCal

If you know of any nice camp spots or trails along the way please let me know. Bonus points for pictures!

    Truck setup/experience:
There will be 2 2.5 gen Tacomas on this trip.
Both mid travel set ups with 33s, full skids and sliders.
I’m not afraid of a little body damage but the goal is to have a good time and not break too much stuff haha

We are both experienced off road drivers. Been riding dirt bikes for 20 years but this is the first trip with the intent being 4x4 trails and not having a base camp.

    Thanks!
