Where to buy OEM TRD Pro grill

I just installed the OEM TRD Pro grill from Toyota parts deal on my 2020 TRD OR DCLB and didn't have to install a washer. I bought an aftermarket garnish. I've driven over a 100 miles since the install and lane assist and adaptive cruise control work just fine. Haven't had the need/opportunity to test the anti collision system...hopefully it works too.

I saw some YouTube videos that called for a spacer washer on the tss sensor but I think they were for non OEM grills.

 

Took a swing at Toyota Parts Deal.. Will see as I finally got a full refund from Discount Parts Monster....

 

Just checked and my status on Toyota Parts Deal shows as "Shipped"...... Sorry BeaverPelt.... Went with the AA grille this time as I like the grey letters.

***EDIT*** Checked shipping and it shows a delivery of tomorrow.

 

I put in a VIN from the internet. So maybe that was the key.

 

And it’s in…..AA grille with Amazon garnish….

 

Where did you put the vin in at? I didn't see anywhere to put one in.

 

There is a spot when ordering to verify it is the right part.

 

I went ahead and ordered the cartrimhome one with the gray letters after mine got canceled and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The garnish and grille was $120 shipped.

 

i was happy with the (2) 4Runner pro ones from them. That was going to be my next route if this one was cancelled..

 

I ordered PT228-35220-AA bronze lettering from BAM wholesale parts this morning. No vin provided and status now says read to ship. Hopefully it goes out and arrives undamaged to me. I also ordered the all black pro taillights from them few weeks ago without issue.

 

It arrived perfectly!

I just bought a 23' Tacoma Off Road and want to put an OEM grille on it. I will be purchasing the garnish from Taco Garage. I just wanted to confirm if the PT228-35180 SILVER TOYOTA would fit a 23' Off Road. I don't have a front facing camera so would like to get a grille without a camera hole (seems like the 2018 is my only option for that). If the above does fit, I would be providing a 2018 TRD Pro if asked for a VIN, correct?

Just installed an oem trd pro grille on my off road. Price was high but I’m satisfied.

 

where did you get the parts? I just got a 23' Tacoma TRD Sport and want to change the grill to the Pro version one but dont know what i need, theres so many options . Looking to go as close as OEM as possible. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

PT228-35170 (silver Toyota letters with no tss & front camera) this is only for 2016-17. This is the one I got. I have a 2017 TRD OF.

PT228-35180 silver Toyota letters, for tss sensor. It doesn’t come with the tss sensor garnish , you would have to remove from old grille and apply to new one.

PT 228-35200-AA . Silver letters. For front camera and tss sensor garnish. Doesn’t come with tss sensor garnish and camera, would have to reapply to new grille.

Confirm what part number is applicable to yours. The first PT is definitely not yours. I’m pretty sure grille would have to be the last one I’m mentioned, assuming you already have front camera and tss sensor. Again , it doesn’t come with the trd pro grille, so you would have to buy it separately or use your old one. Not sure how the newer ones are. I got mine on Amazon. Although many people said not to get from Amazon or says it’s a fake, You can confirm by making sure the part number is correct. I checked everything on my grille and it is oem. I checked by looking at how the letters were placed, pt number imprinted on the back of the grille, aswell as the Toyota symbol.

your best bet is to look at Toyota parts website such as sparkspart. There is many to buy from. I got mine for an astounding $500+, but it’s worth it in my opinion. Hope you get yours.
