My brake pedal makes a noise whenever I press the brake. Sounds like the rubber boot from the booster is binding up but I'm not sure. I replaced the booster with an over the counter unit. I never heard this noise with my previous OEM booster. Below is a link to the video.

I was thinking of trying to reposition the boot or totally remove it which I know isn't a good idea. It's just very annoying to hear this sound every time I stop especially in rush hour traffic where I'm on and off the brake all the way home.

Maneuver yourself in upside down so your shoulders are where your feet would normally be. Use a drop light or flashlight, use your hand or a friend to push the pedal. You might be able to locate the noise.

It sounds like the noise is coming from the pivot point of the pedal. Maybe try and spray some white lithium grease in there.

Ok thanks going to try and crawl under there again and take a look and lube the pivot point.
