Saw a Tacoma in the Cincinnati museum camp drop off line this morning with some raptor lights. I want to say it was white. Is that someone on here?

We did a couple easy trails on the DBBB then went down to beattyville and ran a trail from there to Livingston

Nice! How are those trails in terms of difficulty? They tight giving lots of pin striping?

If you’re afraid of pinstripes then you need to go out west. All the trails I’ve ever ran in KY are bound to give you a couple. But overall the ones we did that weekend were very easy and pretty open

Nice! I am not afraid of pin stripes but still wrapping my head around them with a new truck. Also, trying to get an idea of what different trails are like. I'm fine getting some to get where I want to go but not wanting to drive down a super tight trial just for the fun of it.

So I need to get some warranty service done...I bought the truck in Richmond so don't really have an association with any of the Cincy dealers...I am by NKU so Eastgate and Florence are about the same distance. Anyone have some input on which one to use?

I’ve used Beechmont Toyota for service on my Tacoma and a Sienna (mainly the Sienna) and I always left pleased.

Thanks for the input. I’m torn on them. I had them replace the small block in my 08 Camry several years back under the recall. They were ok to deal with. They did leave a tool under my hood and damaged the hood though. They took care of it but it was a PITA. Then a couple weeks later my CV joint started making noise and they said it had nothing to do with it…the bracket for the bearing literally bolted to the small block. But they wouldn’t do anything. I haven’t had any issues with that engine since though so overall the work was good I suppose.

Rejoining the Toyota world. Indy ain't Cinci, but I'll be around for local wheeling shenanigans.

Always do it yourself but make certain you know the oil plug from the transmission plug. The oil plug is further forward.

Personally I find it more economical and less time consuming to do it myself. Also I can trust myself and I am always questioning the kid that would be doing it at the shop. I order my oil and filter to the house and every once in a while I will just drop off the used oil at advance auto. I can do the change at my convince and don't have to drive there, sit there or coordinate to drop it off. I can just walk out spend 20 min changing it and walk back in the house.

That’s basically where I am with it too. I was originally hesitant to do things myself because I wanted to keep records and etc but now I’m of the mindset that this will be my sons truck so I got oil change stickers to mark down mileages and stuff too haha.

I hear that. For records I just keep an excel sheet with all the details. I also like to take a picture of the milage on my phone.
