Hey there, my 184k mi 2004 AT 4x4 has started to increasingly make a whining sound in gear going down the road. All research kind of points to torque converter, does anyone have a recommendation on a good transmission shop? The closer to the Southbay the better. I've used the search function and am not finding decent results....

Not opposed to sourcing a reman or low mileage unit, ideally said shop would be willing to perform labor if I go that route. For now knowledgeable diagnosis is what I'm after. Or a line on good remans or low mileage used. Thanks!

*Ive been to Lexology, would prefer some other recommendations.
