Hey everyone this is my first ever thread, and I recently got this 2001 Tacoma 2.4L 4cyl with 96k miles on it from my grandfather and I wanted to ask for help with possibly upsizing the tires/wheels to a more off-road “Truck” looking truck and possibly the height of the the leaves or adding a spacer into it give me suggestions on what I can do please!!!:)))

The culture of this place is that people like titles that somewhat match the topic inside the thread. The word "Help" is usually reserved for people who are stranded or in an emergency situation.

    Good luck with the modifications.

You might try the 5 lug forum, with a more appropriate thread title.

Welcome aboard, my advice is resist the temptation to go for upgrades and mods before fully addressing the issues that arise with the age of the truck. If you can't do it yourself, have someone look over the suspension, tranny, drivelines, get under there with a hammer and look for rusted through frame sections, all the basics. At the very least swap out the lower ball joints. It will be a waste of money upgrading looks and ride height if critical elements fail.
