    Hi all,

Just wanted to pass on my experience with my Taco. So to start it was leaking PSF slowly to start then significantly. I found the thread on replacing the power steering pressure lines. Funds were tight and the wife broke her ankle so I left it to when things settled down. A month later it was sitting and I had parts finally. We are trying to get it started and it wouldn't crank. Tertiary to this, the shifter would also get very stiff to shift. Another thread indicated that it was likely the linkage that the shifter was connected to being rusted, so some Kroil later and shifting works.

Back to it wouldn't start - we are checking relays, battery power, can't find anything. Once had a car with a neutral starting switch issue. So I say let's check the shifter again. Kroiled it up again, shifted it back and forth repeatedly till it was moving and decided to try the ignition again and Voila! it started. It's the switching from being in park that was an issue - I'm not the mechanic so I apologize if my terminology is wrong.

If my pain helps someone, then so be it!
