Maybe a mattress fell out in front of his vehicle and caused a delay

Talk about a whirlpool of emotions. Were you using ice chest's until the new one arrived? Been there, done that.

Never buy a car in a rush, go grocery shopping when you're hungry or get married when your horny.

Beyond that advice this has been entertaining to read.

@maxmk8 Today I got word that they had a team of mechanics go to the truck carrier and they fixed it. Then received this pic of it at dealership.

I'm only a poor TRD OR owner, but don't the Pros all have that huge TRD PRO badge under the side mirrors?

Ok then. You're good to go. Car looks great. Ignore the bs comments on "OMG ITS DIRTY" SHIT HAPPENS. Literally... they'll clean it up... or better yet do it yourself as most dealerships do a shit job.

This means they drive it to OP tomorrow, dogging the shit out of it the entire way, right? Two guys get to roadtrip and play hooky from work, they'll have a blast with it.

I had that offer to drive it 7hrs to me (a week late). They said the driver would be either 2 volunteers off the lot, or they hire 2 retired guys 'to drive it and follow with a lot chase car'.

I said no thanks and drove the distance a week later to pick it up. And I got a $700 credit for the hassle.

It seemed to me your hands are already getting tied towards acceptance and I didn't want them driving it anyway for loads of reasons.

OP, hopefully you can avoid having it delivered.
