    Does anyone know of a shop in West Texas that does regears for the 3rd gen Tacomas? I'm in the Midland area

    I’d use East Coast Gear Supply. You order the 3rd member from them, install it (not hard, drain the diff, unbolt rear hubs, slide axle shafts out (not all the way, just as much as the brake lines allow). Pull 3rd member out, do it all in reverse

    Then throw your old diff in a 5 gallon bucket, mail it back and they pay you back

    Agreed. No one in West Texas works on Toyotas really. A lot of the off-road shops are too busy making bank installing bracket lifts and 22" wheels on trucks.
