So I am currently replacing my two front wheel bearing assemblies and cant figure out how to remove and replace the CV dust seal without removing the axle.

    Any tips?

Use a thin blade screw driver with a wide head. Be easy and go around it several times if your trying to save it. It will slide off easily once you get it out a little. You can the screw driver in between the seal and the axle right where the arrow is pointing and give screw driver a little twist .

I chose to just clean it up and apply a small amount of grease. I figured if I was able to get it off there was no good way to get the new seal on there because the CV axle is "floating" and I could not find a good way to install the new seal. Its something I will change when I serve the CV axle.
