Does anyone know if 87 6 lug Toyota pickup rims will fit on my 97 Tacoma? Concerned about the center bore.

They should fit with no issues. Unless you have the TBU, they won't clear the larger calipers.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Now my 2000 has the stock brakes the 15" steel wheels from the 87 4x4 pick up will not clear the Calipers .

Also my 2000 4runner will not clear the calipers on stock 15" Aluminum wheels from the Tacoma.

Your calipers might be smaller. .

Your going to have to try.
