Good evening all this is hard to describe but I can’t figure out what’s going on with my truck, my mechanic, friends and others are scratching our heads. Quick breakdown I got a 2014 Tacoma 6 speed manual with small lift, 34 in tires, with lots of other upgrades. About a year ago I put in a new clutch thinking that was the problem, but bottom line is at a dead stop with any type of hill or even dead flat to be honest if I don’t feather/let out the clutch super slow the truck will da da da da/hop/shutter is the best I can explain, I’ll start with that any thoughts?…..super frustrating

Clutch disc might be glazed over (overheated), contaminated with oil or something, or otherwise damaged

Did the flywheel get replaced or resurfaced when the clutch was installed?

How much experience do you have driving a manual? Did you learn in this vehicle?

I bought and had installed the stage 3 URD clutch and heavy flywheel combo, thinking all this would fix the problem after first few weeks of driving after this was installed the truck could jump off the line, super touchy/fast response starting in first problem of truck da da da da/hop/stuttering went away, after clutch got its break in time the problem started again. I have been driving manual vehicles for 20 years, even my “Offroad mechanic” that drives and builds rock crawlers who installed new clutch stalled my truck a week ago when I took it back in. Would any of you think to believe I could have like a motor/transmission Mount or bushing or something like that broken or bad? Thanks for any ideas
