I ended up with an 01 tacoma that someone had already started to repair. He installed a fuel pump, filter and a crank sensor It wouldn't run. I started checking things no spark at all. It needed new plugs wires and coils so I installed them as well as a cam sensor. Still no spark. I picked up a used igniter and installed. No spark. I have checked the fuses and the grounds. I unplugged the alarm system does that matter?

Aftermarket alarms can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. Might be worth figuring the make of the Alarm and doing some research on a full removal of that
