Installed some replacement headlights after my originals were past repair. The new ones added DRL and LED lighting, and required additional wiring. I decided to clean up my wiring job since it was a bit messy, however after reinstalling the lights, the blinkers only work when parking lights or low beam but are blinking as if the bulb is dead.

I even tried bypassing the DRL setup and just direct connecting them factory harass to the new lights.

    Right now:

    • Low and high beams work

    • Parking lights work

    • DRL show amber instead of white

    • Blinkers only work when lows/high are on

    • Emergency flashers flash normal speed (but only when Parking/low are on)

    • Blinkers don't blink when locking/unlocking except when lights are on.

    • Blinker hyper flashing
All fuses look good in the engine bay and under the dash. My Shifter lights even work now (they were out for a while). Inside lights work, and dim when low's are activated. Tail lights still work fine.

Right now it's "derivable" but again I have to have my parking or lows on, and my blinkers blink like a the bulbs are dead.

    Where should I be looking?

I may have discovered the issue - it looks like the DRL's get their power from a 12v that passes through the DRL module pictured below.

It's a fuse tap, power and ground that go to a 15w fuse. From there it goes to the module, which then leads to the power for the DRL.

I confirmed that there is power going before the module, but no power after the module. I assume that something shorted inside the box.

I'm getting a new box and will update.

Good luck! Hopefully that will fix your problem. AlphaRex is not noted for their quality.
