Hi, I'm brand new so sorry if I didn't upload correctly. Just noticed that I wrecked my rocker panel. What can I do to halt future rust? Not too concerned about looks.

Welcome aboard, does that pushed up lip restrict the door at all? I wouldn't call it wrecked, more like a character scar. If you really wanted to, you could tap that lip back into line with the rest of the panel shape, sand it to metal, bondo in the "hole" and get a pant match, paint and clear coat it. IMO it wouldn't be worth the trouble, I'd save it for the story behind how you got it.

Cover it up. Get steps or sliders if you think there is more crunching in the future.

I like this idea, it doesn't restrict the door at all it seems. I guess if it starts to rust or expose metal I'll do as you said

Is the paint cracked at all? If not it shouldn’t rust anytime soon.
