    Hello,

Please help... The Passenger Seat (Buckle Seat) of my 1998 Tacoma 4x4 V6 do not recline. It happened for couple months now and I tried to fix it myself but I don't know how. It looks like the gear don't lock/bite to each other. If any of you know, please tell me.

    Have a great day

I already watched that video couple times but I don't get it. Is there anyway you can explain or write it down for me clearly how to fix?

I'm hoping @opteron sees this reply. I am having basically the same problem as the original poster. My passenger seat back will not release. I have looked at the mechanism and everything seems to be working properly but the back will not move back or forward. Watching the video you posted it should just be a matter of the lever moving another toothed lever to disengage from the back itself but for some reason it is not disengaging enough to allow the back to move unless there is a possibility of something else jammed. Any thoughts?

Doubtful he's still following a 5 year old thread. He won't see it unless you tag him or quote him.

Figured it was a Longshot. Edited my post so he is tagged now. A lot of times looking for answers to questions, the topics are several years old.
