My 2007 4L Tacoma was running great. The next morning would not go over 10 miles an hour. It idles smooth but when you give it gas it spits and sputters. I cleaned the MAF sensor and the Throttle body, reset the TPsensor and ran great for 2 days. Next day it happened again. I noticed on start up that white smoke was coming out of the tailpipe and blow clear water out of it. Any clues?

Only on startup is usually steam and/ or condensation.

    But it's not cold out.

I'd start looking for the typical head gasket symptoms. And hope I was wrong.

Sounds like it’s a blown head gasket. White smoke usually means you’re burning coolant.

Small amount of water coming out of tail pipe is normal…By product of the catalytic converters.

Any internal engine combusting fuel will produce copious amounts of water.

Is your antifreeze level actually dropping?

I wonder if you are having an accelerator sensing issue where the pedal pressure/movement isn't actually being picked up by the engine fuel management system.
I also wonder if you are having a fuel pump issue. Has it ever been replaced and how many miles on your ride?
