Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
An air bag that slips between the door and the window . A rectangle shaped bag stiff enough to be pushed between easily.

A few pumps it pushes the window away allowing you to grab the lock button with a rod with a loop on and pull the button up.

No damage if I had not been watching I would have no clue How the door was opened.

Moral of the story seems to be, I need to put a keypad on my door or ditch the knob lock. Idk I'm paranoid and feel like an extra lock makes a difference... So maybe I'll look into keypads...

The thing is most times i carry my second set of keys in my pocket .

That day i just tossed them on the console behind the shifter.

Since i no longer work I never lock my place why bother if someone wants in bad enough all they need to do is back through the door load the truck and leave.

My neighbor used to own a company that installed alarms . Unless I was real lucky the police just show up to do paperwork when they have time in a few days.

If all goes according to plan, in give or take 30 hours the Pilot will have a new owner.

I spent about two and a half hours cleaning it up last night, found 14 pens, 4 broken Doritos, a Rice Krispy Treat wrapper, 21 cents, the aluminum pill container we lost YEARS ago and the mask from my son's nebulizer.

Surprisingly, the wireless headphones for the rear entertainment system* still worked. Those must be some amazing batteries.

She's been a good vehicle but after 18 years and 110k, it's time for a new home.

*It has an in dash cassette and CD player, a 6 disc CD changer AND a DVD player with a drop down screen. The front and rear passenges can use two different inputs at the same time - front listening to the radio, rear watching a movie. Not bad for 2005!

A lock keeps a lazy thief honest.

If there is a window within reaching distance of the door a more ambitious thief will break the glass & reach in.

We only get lazy thieves here luckily, so that's all I need. My neighbors are mostly retired, so if they can't get in quick, the neighbor would spot them. If they could just waltz in like they owned the place then no one would notice.

Good gracious, I put almost 17k on my other 3rd gen in a year before I moved. Now my work commute is only 148 miles a week, plus shopping.
