Truck is having a weird noise on low speed on smooth roads almost like 2 knives clanging together or 2 pieces of metal rubbing against each other another way to describe it is it sounds as if I’m going over a loose sewer cap on the road. the truck had the u bolts changed as well as both leaf springs rear differential and drive shaft due to a crash. Have had no luck with mechanic checked rear breaks all seems well here is a short clip of the noise occurring towards the end of the clip make sure sound is not muted any help appreciated thanks. https://photos.app.goo.gl/xJ74USbk7diJko1eA

Well if this wasn't a misleading friggin' thread title.

Was expecting some slapping and squishing noises. Nope.

    Moving along....

Bolts are torqued doubt it would have to with leafs though as it does it even on a smooth road, I was thinking it oughta be something that is in motion while in drive as I haven’t heard it in reverse

Check the heat shield on the inside of the gas tank. There is a tab that often will break free and slice the boot on the drive shaft.
