This has probably been posted a million times now so if someone can answer or point me to a thread with an answer that would be great.

anyway I just installed 285/70/17 on my taco with a 2 inch lift. I’m getting some rubbing on the body mount when at full lock as well as a little rubbing on fender liner (easy fix). I also have 1 inch wheel spacers installed and the wheels are +1 offset. My question is will removing the spacer eliminate need for a bmc and minor mods to fender liner?

Obviously I could just take the spacer out and check myself but I’m on vacation right now and it’s all I can think about haha. Plus I really love the stance the spacer gives me so if I could save myself the hassle.Just wondering if anyone has run into this problem.

Yes, take off the wheel spacer. You will reduce cab mount rub tremendously.

Just a 2” spacer up front and 1” block in the rear right now with plans for fox 2.0s. I don’t do any hardcore wheeling, just driving around the mountains to get to my elk hunting trailheads.
