My 2022 v6 AT does the hunting up hills when cruise is activated as well. Good to know it’s not just me. I don’t mind driving without cruise so it’s not a huge deal for me. I’m going to try doing the lock out option and maybe even give the ECT a try. Being in CO, when we travel there are always hills, so I just stick to driving it without CC and it does fine that way.

I also plan to keep an eye out for a TSB but until then, I’ll just enjoy it as is.

They do have the ECT power button, and it does help, but not very much. It bascially prolongs the hunting cycle by making the truck hesitate to upshift, but it eventually will if thinks it should, then it's way more eager to downshift and what ends up happening is your truck is just revving up way more often than usual for no reason. The only "solution" to the hunting is to drop down the gear in "s" mode until it stops hunting.
