A few OE parts from fancy trucks

Do you use the front safety straps that are built in for this version, or did you cut them off?

The previous version did not have these. This unit is a warranty replacement (fast and easy) so wondering if really needed.

Seems like they'd hamper the full removal and install of the cover when needed.
