I agree, it seems as if at least here they get done and 2 weeks later they are cutting a section out to fix something and that section needs replaced a couple years later at our expense. It never ends.

Mine looks like new underneath too... and never treated.

Living in the rustbelt must be brutal. What a waste of good vehicles... and money. I knew a guy in Arkansas that made a living buying high milage/non-running cars with good bodies down south and trucking them north... where he would buy rusted hulks with decent drive trains to truck south.

Good Morning Porh Folks. Took a bit of a break due to old age-itis and covid. Going to PT for the foot aggrevated the back then i caught a dose of Covid (only lasted a couple of days) then went to the doc for the back and yes it's old age deterioration of the lower lumbar area. Going for an MRI next. Feeling better so back on TW. Too many back posts to catch up on but hope all are well.
Have a good one and be safe out there.

A little something every chance we get.
Well, it's a prettier picture than it was a truck. Nice kid even offered down to $10K from $12.5 without prompting. But, even running, it needs some shop time, and I don't have one handy. It's also a fine line between what I see as "possibilites" and staying married!

My son showed up with the 2006 CRV for some TLC.

Original fans failed after 18 years, OEMs were $550 for just the motors, and Rock Auto replacements were $60 each, including plastic trim pieces. Explained the fans are only needed when stopped in traffic, above 20 mph plenty of airflow. The car was getting warm in stop-and-go traffic, and he first noticed a lack of AC performance. Suddenly realized the temp gauge was pegged. Flipped on the heater full blast, always fun on a hot day, windows down, and saved the engine.

I was joking. "I bought a new Honda, so I wouldn't be working on the old one." Still fun to help out; there is some Tetris planning to get the radiator fans off.

    Evening all:
Cute pic. of your niece Harry, she will get a good laugh out of that that one day!

:annoyed: Drove to Lyons Pa. to get a Deka battery, it was $60 more than the last one that I bought, who would have thought that!
I think the GPS took me where there was the most traffic and I navigated one of those stupid circles that someone decided was the latest and greatest, starting to see more and more of them!

Yesterday morning the pond was full, and last evening it was way down, my bear buddy came to visit again!
I talked to the guy that feeds them a couple weeks ago, he said he called the game commission to see if they could trap 2 big males and relocate them, they set up the trap and had no takers. They also said that if a female with 2 cubs got trapped, they would release her because of the cubs.
