Don’t rush it. The 2 lane part of 89 can be sketchy when people rush.

That is the worst segment - so thankful for the passing lanes. Now, if those in a rush would just read the sign saying Passing Lane 1 mile.

Player 9 has entered the chat.

I'll join up with the group on Monday, somewhere on the Kaibab Plateau be it Jacob Lake or N. Rim Lodge.

What level of food prep is anticipated each evening? Breakfast hot but simple, lunch cold, evening hot but percentage of Goodto-Go vs full prep? Gotta plan my coffee and chocolate chip cookie intake appropriately.

This trip is paced slowly, so breakfasts and dinners can be all-out affairs. I will have food prepped (that's how I do it in my regular day-to-day life also), but won't be in a rush. The day with the most miles is the day we catch up with you, and even that day won't be rushed.

I do tend to make lunches accessible fairly quickly, as sometimes our lunch stops aren't that long. We tend to keep lunches to 30-45 mins(?) max IIRC.

We should/will be at camp early in the afternoon each day, so make dinners as spectacular as you wish.
