Looks like they got it right on mine, started over, I got one big clump of Weights probably opposite the TPMS sensor.

 

Yeah, my brother has them installed on his 4Runner and a few of my friends do to and they’ve never had any issues. Made it through Monanche Meadows fine.

 

I pulled Fender stuff… a small pain for sure. But then super easy access and easy re-assembly. The hardest part is feeling like this might break something.. as you pull the clips.

 

Was finally able to get back into the shop to complete the wrap mirror caps and fender flares.

whats the best way to clean this bich out without worrying about electrical or any undesirable outcomes???

 

I hit it with a power washer and SuperClean, then dry using a leaf blower.

Same here. I was set on getting the TRD shift knob, then I spotted this one and couldn’t resist.

 

I agree, the more often I disassemble, the weaker the plastic clips get.
I try to limit this.

 

Installed the OEM power tailgate lock today. Watched a couple videos on YouTube and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. Purchased it from BAM Wholesale parts and it only took a couple of days to get it. Wish I would have done this sooner…bye bye key!

 

One of the most practical mods you can do. I feel robbed that it wasn't already installed on my Limited Nightshade model. Toyota is finally incorporating it in the higher end models for 2024 but I think they were cheap to not include it sooner on the Limited and Pro models at least.

 

Back from chasing tropical storm Hilary in the high desert. At highway speeds, the truck developed a slight vibration, so I took it to the quarter car wash and washed five pounds of sand and rocks out of the inside of each rear wheel. Now, no vibration. Easy fix.

 

My Taco lands later this week, and this is the very first mod I plan on doing. This, and then removing the air dam immediately after.

 

I already posted this in the "RCI slider installation" thread, but anyway, I installed some RCI 5* sliders, one side with top plate, the other side without. They shipped me two passenger side slider tops, but I called and said that they would send me the driver's side. Unfortunately, it won't get here before my trip.

 

I hate drilling into my Diamondback Cover but I installed a few of those new low profile anchor plates on the front and back. I have 4 more coming so I can install those on top of the middle hinges.

 

At least their design is such that you can add/remove the top plates as you wish. It's still not ideal for your trip though.

 

Will you be upgrading your wheels to something in Gold-Pressed Latium? Lol.
