Maybe one day I'll learn to weld.

Would be cool to own an 80 series Land Cruiser too; those are super cool right?

After I graduate high-school of course.

A shame really kinda like the Great Mattress Move! Not as much fun

I have seen so many projects like this end up for scrap . Some one drags them here I breathe life back into them!

    Such is life!

@slander any thoughts? Don’t you have Land Cruiser axles on your truck? :D

I think his are 80 rear and 60 front, which will be different. The 60 uses mini outers and 9.5 centered.

I'm invested now...only to see how OP ends up "fixing" his issue so I know what not to do when I finally grow a pair and chop my ifs. Following for research purposes

Since it was purchased, this is probably the scenario:

-OP: hey wife, that's a badass tacoma with an 80 axle
-wife: that steering and the entire front end don't look safe too drive
-OP: don't worry, I built rock crawlers so it'll be an easy fix.
-wife: ok, if you say so

-OP pays PO $$$ and first trip, the "built" rig broke down

    -wife: so what now
-OP: I'll get some guys to come up with some idea and fix it

1 year gone by...... wife is getting impatient

-wife: do you plan on fixing my rig
-OP: shut up, I've been busy with my rig. I'll get to it

    Fast forward to today....

-OP: I'm so fuck. Paid so much for this POS tacoma. I want to get rid of it.
