Digging through the closet gave me a thread idea that I didn't seem to find anywhere.

Post up a shot (if you can) of an old T-shirt that you got at a concert / tour, not from a store. The tour ones were sometimes more unique. These should be something you still have, not an old photo of something you had years back and is long gone. Any genre welcome. Try to keep pre-2000 (haha "old"...), and preferably 80's and earlier. The older the better!

If it's kind of hard to ID the group from just the photo feel free to add some words to help.

40 year anniversary of IM World Piece Tour

Bonus points for the first to ID on this group...

What hidden gems do you have out there to bring back some good memories...??

    Thanks, and enjoy!

Crap, most of mine I've worn out and they wind up in the Taco rag box (P.F., Pennywise, Offspring, 'Zep, ZZ Top to name a few) but I still have and wear daily 'Skynerd, Rush, AC/DC, Two 'Zep's, three Black Sabbaths, two Concrete Blonde's, Def Leperd, to name a few. Never thought to immortalize them in photos, next time we do laundry I'll try to snap a few pics.

Yeah same boat, a lot of mine also got worn through, traded, and forgotten during the torrent of the 80's and 90's. The Maiden shirt probably made it this long because it had .... shrunk.... a bit back then and is no where near large enough for anything bigger than a pre-teen to wear. "No really, it shrunk" haha

Wish I could have seen Skynyrd back in their hey-day. I was raised 80's rock and metal, but am all over the place now. I truly hate not being able to time travel and go back to see so many good groups. At least there's youtube to get your fix.

Yeah in my time as a web dev most of mine "shrunk" too. Then ... well let's say the industry reads too many articles about older people and their mental acuity . . . . and now work at an active job, lost 30 lbs, which is why these all became wearable again.

The first CB was bought on RedBubble but too cool a design not to include. Fabric sucks though, like anything else made after 2000.

The last one I drove from OR to S.D. to see it (cat tail not included.) CB and Jonette are way underrated, at the bottom is a link to her cover of a Leonard Cohen song. That voice still gives me tingles. :p

I've seen Sabbath 6 times, first Rush was in 1970 (??) at the shrine after the release of their first album, fortunate to have caught Clockwork Angels in S.D. before the Professor passed on. Def Lepard 4 times.

Good stuff and artists all around, what I'm looking for! Ronstadt / early Rush / early Leppard, awesome.

I wish I had old concert shirts, I rarely buy them. Recently I did buy Misfits from the May 2018 and Oct 2019 shows..they do a different shirt for each stop.

About 10 years ago I bought the Rob Zombie "Sick Bubblegum" tour shirt though..
