It's way too early, only had a few sips of java, to be all teary-eyed.

I know the days are moving along for my little Leah, and soon I'll be here too.

Now this Moderator has a sense of humor! That's refreshing!

 

Still waiting on contractors...maybe Monday or Tuesday. We're about to be swarmed with snowbirds and it will effect how they work yet it seems I'm the only one with a sense of urgency.

 

She would have banned a couple of us long ago if she didn’t!!

 

How far is your range the area close or do you go all over the state?

 

It’s my morning today I’m up and getting ready to go load up some critters. This trip is taking me right up through Washington and Baltimore area something I normally wouldn’t do but it’s some difficult to get out dogs so I do what’s necessary. But when my last stop is made don’t be between me and the hills!!

 

I've got one project that's local (electrical) and another 90 minutes north (road resurfacing). As soon as the electrician finds the leak (high voltage underground direct burial) I have to dig it up so they can do a splice. Since I'm the only equipment operator in the lower 2/3's of the district I have to be the project inspector for the road resurfacing. And, after 3 weeks of no resurfacing and 2 weeks of no electrician it looks like now they both want to do something next week. So the project manager may have to do the inspector part if I'm digging up powerline down here.

 

Evening everyone

Over the past week I've been noticing a increasing amount of wasps and hornets especially in the early evening hours . I've seen bald faced hornets and Red wasps flying around . It's so bad now I can't even go on my back patio . Even the other day I found two very large red wasps crawling across my windshield of my truck which is parked in my driveway

So I called my pest control technician and he will be here tomorrow late afternoon to see if he can find any nests nearby
