You are doing the hid mod to the hellas? I dont know that you can wire up HID lights without the relay. But I think if you were able to all you need to do is wire the switch to the positive on the battery with a fuse inbetween. ground the switch, ground the fogs and hook up a power wire from the switch straight to the lights. I dont know that that is safe to do tho. You may just want to go out and buy the relay I think there like $8?

A few mods here and there and counting....
It would be safe to run a relay. If you have the hella 500s, install per the instructions that are included with the kit. After that, you connect the positive wire from the ballast to hella fog harness, and ground the other. Everything is on a relay and properly grounded. If you need schematics, i can draw one up later for you.

yeh.... you will want to run a relay with the hellas.
I have converted 2 sets of 500s to HID, and if you don't have an extra relay, use the setup that comes with the hellas.
